Hillbrow Health and Wellbeing Centre has launched a medical membership.
It is a collaboration between Wave Active and South Downs Health and Care.
MyHealth offers unlimited access to fitness facilities, as well as GP appointments.
A comprehensive health check, including access to Medicubex, is also included.

A new medical membership giving access to fitness facilities as well as GP appointments and wellness tests has been launched by The Wave Active and South Downs Health and Care partnership.
Available at the forward-looking Hillbrow Health and Wellbeing centre – a collaboration between fitness and medical professionals and launched a year ago in Sussex, UK – the MyHealth membership is available on a 12-month contract for an upfront payment of £420 and a monthly membership payment of £69.80.
For this, members get unlimited use of the Hillbrow gym, swimming pool, and group fitness classes; a personalised fitness plan which is reviewed every 10 to 12 weeks, and two 45 minute sessions with a fitness instructor.
They also get access to six 25-minute GP appointments a year – which can be shared with family and friends – and a comprehensive health check carried out by a nurse. This includes clinical screening that looks at blood count, kidney and liver function, cholesterol profile, blood glucose and HbA1c, urinalysis, bone health markers, iron (ferritin), thyroid function, and tumour markers. The test is followed up with a consultation call with a GP.
The health assessment also incorporates access to Medicubex, a healthcare solution new to the UK which enables patients to monitor vital signs, assess cardiovascular disease and diabetes risks.
The user stands in a cube and then is guided through the process of measuring their vital signs – body temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, body composition, ECG, disease risk, and pulse oximeter – and receives immediate feedback on their health status.
Hillbrow co-founder, Duncan Kerr, says: "MyHealth has been a challenge to pull together, but is a really exciting development for Hillbrow and the sector.
"This is exactly the type of project the Wave Active/South Downs Health and Care partnership should be striving to deliver, bearing in mind our ultimate goal, which is to change the way clinical and leisure professionals work together on a daily basis to improve the health of the local community. We're stronger together, more effective in partnership, and we will achieve more if we continue to evolve the relationship."
