Manchester Sportcity: sports-led regeneration reveals the incredible story of how Manchester has used sport to transform its east end. The IAKS UK & Ireland event on 22-23 September will include a tour of the Etihad Stadium, the new Co-op Live, the City Football Academy and the National Cycling Centre. It has a stellar line-up of speakers who’ll discuss funding, bidding strategies, public-private partnerships, design, social value and long-term approaches.

There’ll be lessons and takeaways for cities and for people involved in sport and leisure, plus opportunities for networking, developing contacts and sharing ideas.
